About
Colleen Kam Siu is a poet and visual artist working across drawing, painting, collage, and large-scale murals. Many of her visual works begin with poetry. Using recurring symbols such as water, the moon, botanical forms, circles, birds, and elemental imagery, she translates internal experiences into visual form.
Her work is intuitive, layered, and symbolic. Through linework, watercolor, gold, and found materials, she is interested in memory, transformation, and the connections between people, nature, and the subconscious.
Alongside her personal practice, she also creates collaborative community murals with women’s organizations and community groups.
